Most people want nice abs and a strong core. Creating the daily habit to do a few simple core focused exercises will help you reach that goal. The best part about these exercises, you can do them anywhere.

15 knees to head crunch

  • Lie on your back with your knees bent at 90 degrees. Place your hands behind your ears.
  • Lift shoulder off the ground and crunch your knees to forehead.

 1-minute Russian Twist

  • Lie on your back with your feet planted 6 inches from your seat bones. Knees together. Now sit up like you would be doing a sit up.
  • Twist from side to side reaching towards the floor with each twist.

 3 sets of 10 Boat pulses

  • Sit on the floor with your knees bent. Lean back slightly, keeping your back straight and hold your arms out in front of you as you raise your feet off the ground with your legs together.
  • Do 10 mini pulses where you crunch your core together. Take a 5 second break repeat

 10 V-ups

  • Lie on your back with legs and arms extended.
  • Keeping knees and elbows locked, simultaneously raise your upper body and lower body while trying to touch fingers to toes.

1-minute plank

  • Weight on forearm, body straight from head to heels.
  • Focus on good form and breathing

 1-minute mountain climber

  • Start in push-up position with your arms straight and your hands slightly wider than your shoulders and your body straight from head to heals.
  • Think about form and keeping your back flat. Bring your knee as close to your elbow/chest area as possible, then tapping the floor with your toes.

 10 straight arm plank cross

  • Start in push-up position with your arms straight and your hands slightly wider than your shoulders and your body straight from head to heals.
  • Lift your right foot off the ground and bend your right knee as you cross it under your body to touch your left arm.
  • Return to push-up position, and repeat with your other leg.
