Tasty Turmeric Smoothie with Kale

Don't let this simple smoothie fool you, this blend is jam packed with so much goodness. We threw in a scoop of our organic freeze-dried kale powder. A teaspoon of turmeric, a dash of ginger, an apple and a few carrots.

This combination of ingredients helps with inflammation and gives you an antioxidant boost. Not to mention its delicious. 

In your blender combine: 

1 scoop KOYAH kale powder (or 1 cup fresh kale) 
1 cup of almond milk 
1 cup of ice 
1 apple 
2-4 carrots 
1 tsp of turmeric 
1 tsp ginger (or a fresh piece of ginger root) 
A dash of ground pepper (to help your body absorb the turmeric) 

Blend on high until desired consistency.
