Pumpkin Spice Smoothie

Pumpkin isn't always for halloween and pie filling during the holidays. Its nutritionally dense and is loaded with some great health benefits. Its a good source of beta-carotene which is an excellent antioxidant it has a large amount of fiber, full of potassium and vitamin C. 

We added our signature KOYAH kale to the blend to give that extra kick of health. Kale has calcium, vitamin C and is a great detox food. 

Lastly we added Turmeric. The health benefits of Turmeric are awesome. One of many benefits include is its a natural Anti-Inflammatory and high in antioxidants.  

Not only will this smoothie give you a boost in healthy superfoods its super filling and a great meal replacement. 

In you blender add:

1 scoop KOYAH kale  (or 1 cup fresh kale) 
1/2 cup puree pumpkin
1 frozen ripe banana
3 soft medjool dates -pitted
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric 
1-1 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice
1 teaspoon of cinnamon 

Add a small amount of water at a time to help with consistency  

Blend high until desired consistency. 

Serves 1
